Free Ramblers is a group of friends who are at their happiest hiking, spending time together, joking and...eating.
Several of us have been walking together now for ten years since the original hiking club EL (Escursionisti Lubrensi) was founded.
Most weekends, hikes are organised usually along the Amalfi Coast, in the Sorrento Peninsula or on Capri, although on occasions they may be further afield. A couple of times a month we meet just for dinner or a simple pizza.
Anyone is more than welcome to join in - all that is required from you is a good level of fitness, a love of the outdoors, a friendly and sociable nature and an attentive reading of our 10 Commandments.

Non Italians will have no language problems since there are usually some English speakers amongst us.

Gli Escursionisti Epicurei sono un gruppo di amici a cui piace camminare, stare insieme, prendersi in giro e .... mangiare.

Vari di loro sono stati fra i fondatori, 10 anni fa, del gruppo originale degli EL (Escursionisti Lubrensi).

Quasi ogni sabato e domenica organizzano escursioni - di solito in Penisola Sorrentina, Costiera Amalfitana, Monti Lattari o Capri, anche se talvolta ci si spinge più lontano - e un paio di volte al mese cene conviviali.

Tutti sono benvenuti fra gli Escursionisti Epicurei; per far parte del nostro gruppo è solo richiesto di essere in forma decente, amare la vita all'aria aperta, essere allegro e cordiale e, soprattutto, leggere con molta attenzione il nostro Decalogo.
